I am in my first year of my Master of Arts degree, in the Educational Administration branch at OISE. I have strong interests in community development and holistic education. As the program developer and instructor for the ROOTS program with the East Scarborough Boys & Girls Club, I am always looking ways for integrate technology within holistic programs. Through exploring new technology, such as Google Glass, I am able to consider how my students can stay at the fore of 21st century learning.
I am in my second year of my Master of Education degree, focusing on curriculum studies and teacher development. I have taken several courses on technology in the classroom, as it is a real interest of mine. Above all, I am always looking for ways to help my students experience personal success. I am excited when I encounter digital tools and devices, such as Google Glass, that open up previously inconceivable pathways and opportunities for teaching, learning and sharing. We hope you find this website helpful and practical!
I am currently in my second year of my Master of Teaching. I am extremely interested on learning how technology can be integrated in the classroom. In fact, my thesis will be on the social networking website Twitter and how it can be used as a collaborative learning tool in the classroom. Prior to this project, I had never considered how Google Glass and other wearable computing devices could be used as learning tools. We hope you enjoy reading all about it!
I am in my final year of my Master of Education degree, with a focus on Adult Education and Community Development. This is my first course in Technology and I look forward to many more in the future. I have a keen interest in Holistic Learning and Mindfulness. I look forward to the future of wearable technology and hope that I can keep up with all the changes. I am hoping that my 19-year old son who has Asperger's Syndrome will soon be able to benefit from this promising technology and software.
