As we know, when students are more engaged, they are more motivated and they perform better. Professors and instructors can use a Glassware app like Speech Helper to view their slide notes during a slide show presentation and can also control the slides ("Ok, glass. Slide Remote").

With this app students are able to highlight text on a piece of paper and then wink while wearing Google Glass to trigger Reader to analyze the text. From there it can show the text highlighted with the page number, data from Wikipedia, and ability to translate to your native language.

The app is fantastic when you want to quickly jot down a note and makes use of the voice features of Glass to do so. It is a great application for educators and its usefulness can range from planning a course to delivering a lesson plan to capturing feedback after class.

WordLens is a Glassware app that translates what the viewer is reading to and from many languages. This can be very beneficial to a second language learner in the classroom.
